The hotel gives the feeling of a sumptuous retreat, melding moorish and spanish cultures admirably. It is clear that this is a labor of love.
It was a welcome respite after a busy trip in the southern cities of Spain. We spent one night and had the place to ourselves. I easily could have stayed for more than a day as it is off the beaten track and not touristy . There are a myriad of day walks and charming towns to explore. It is quite hilly so bring appropriate shoes and energy if you want to explore. There is a photograph at every turn.
Di and John were as pleasant as could be, warm, but professional, which encouraged the guest to feel welcome in their space with privacy included. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, a moderate but pleasant view. The bathrooms are very well equipped and aesthetically pleasing. Again they are well cared for and clean.
