We stayed a couple of night at the Lopez de Haro. The location can not be faulted. It is within walking distance of the Guggenheim Museum (and I mean it! 5 minutes if even!) and the shopping district and casco viejo. It is a classic 5 star hotel if a little aged. I agree completely with Somerset7's review. This hotel does not deserve 5 stars. We also had room 506, pretty average, the bathroom needs updating, it was pretty tatty.
