If you book through the internet, you will be put into the older area, where its ok to stay....but the carpets are not up to the mark of a 4* hotel. They provide a complementory wine bottle, but it is served only if you go to the restaurant and order something. But their restaurant opens only at 9:00pm in the... More

This is a medium sized four star hotel located on the edge of the central part of Bilbao. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable although we were there in April and the air conditioning in some of the rooms was not working as it still had the winter heater settings.

We could not have asked for a better location for our visit to Bilbao. Centrally located, Silken Indautxu made a trip to the Guggenheim and subsequent bar hopping a piece of cake. We loved the city and highly recommend Bistro Bilbao and Singular, both of which are about 7-8 blocks from the museum. Our room was underwhelming. There was a... More

Fine hotel in fine situation. Hotel is near city-center, but still so far that sleeping there was relaxative. Friendly staff. Free internet was really slow, and you must change password every 24 hours.

This Silken hotel is clean and modern. However, our room was in the new wing, which required us to lug our luggage down a long corridor which had stairs to go up and down with NO ramp to roll our suitcases. A pain. Also, yu must log each of your phones and computers into the network daily and get a new... More

Good choice for business trip. Location of the hotel is very good. Nice and clean rooms. The only problem for me was 24 hours Wi-Fi password validity...you need to take care when you take paper from reception with password !!. Everything else was fine. During the weekend there is a good jazz live music.

Dear Customer , We are very pleased that your stay with us had been successful and hope you visit us next time. According on your mention of the WIFI system, we suggest you to request as many passwords as you might expect at once, each ,works for 24 hrs but you can keep the others to avoid asking for one... Pretty nice place, centrally located, not too far from Guggenheim. Bar is reasonably priced, breakfast pretty good. Not far from the airport bus on Plaza Moyua. Rooms nice size, beds comfy. Some rooms are in an annex, which involves stairs and a lift - could be tricky if you´ve got a lot of stuff. The wifi is free (get password... More

We were upgraded to a lovely room over looking the Guggenheim Museum. We watched them groom the giant dog. The view from the room was special. The staff could not have been more helpful. Would definetly stay there again.

This is what you expect to find behind 4 stars, a large lobby and lobby bar, good restaurant, a cafeteria, a garage, good service and a clean, roomy room. There is also a free (and slow) WiFi included in the room price. The location is a couple blocks from the main shopping street and 20 minutes walk from old town... More
