A pleasant, straightforward hotel in the city centre of Bilbao. Although it is a long (30 mins+) walk from the old centre, there is a good tram service (head towards the river from the hotel) which gets you there very quickly. Clean rooms, slightly dated, but generally OK and very quiet. Good value for money.

Easy walk to the conference centre. Rooms are large (based on European standars) and comfortable for the rating. Good solid breakfast buffet with reasonable choice that will suit a wide variety of tastes Service could be better. Generally very good value for money and an excellent choice for attending conferences in Bilbao.

This hotel is not very expensive, so one may well choose to stay in a mediocre hotel in a good location. But still, it is annoying that fast wireless is seen as an extra (for me a disqualifier for a hotel) and that it is quite run down.

The room is confortable (I am travelling alone) and clean. Maybe there is not enough storage places for staying more days. The position of the hotel is good for visiting the city. I haven't used the restaurant.
