This hotel offers it all! We had a great room with a balcony overlooking all of San Sebastian and the beaches. The room itself is good its spacious with a decent size bathroom. Great hotel in a magnificent place overlooking the town of San Sebastian. We had a room overlooking the ocean rather than the town, which, in the end, we preferred. The views from the bar, restaurant and some rooms are wonderful: the rooms themselves are OK but characterless; service in the bar was extremely slow as the staff also served in the restaurant - and the bar closes at midnight. You do need a car unless you are an enthusiastic hiker! more

We stayed two nights at the Mercure San Sebastien. The room had was very spacious, clean and had a fantastic view of the sea and the city. The hotel was quiet despite the adjacent amusement park.
