This is a Basque classic Hotel right on the ocean. The building is 16th Century, but the interior is elegant and modern, updated with beautiful wood flooring and walkout doors to a terrace overlooking the ocean and along the wide coastline. We had room 108 and the waves lull you to sleep. The room rate was 160 euros, breakfast is included with free parking if needed, free wifi, all with excellent service. The dinner special offered nightly usually includes 6 courses, well prepared for approximately 22 euros. The cafe and restaurant are on the beach, below the rooms and open morning thru evening.This is a real gem. . However, as everywhere else in Spain, smoking can be a problem in the restaurant, but the rooms are free of smoke. more
