Edorta is right, smack bang in the middle of the old town - It's ideal, it's clean and it's a bargain. The staff are friendly, although if you are at the sharp end of the late night "Shusher" you may be miffed (He goes around late at night, shushing people to keep them all quiet) Unsophisticated but utterly nice! more

I have stayed at Edorta with my boyfriend at the end of may '09. The pension is in the old town and the harbour.Very conveniente location. Pension Edorta is a great place to stay in San Sebastian, and very very good value for the price. It is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful (and they speak english). We had a perfect stay, and I would highly recommend it. We will definitely come back!! more

Right in the heart of old town, Pension Edorta is a great stay. Great value. Only paid EUR40 for two beds for shared bathroom but noone was there to share with. A big private room with two beds and own bath for 60 euros a night. Two other rooms our grown kids got with nice shared bath just 40 euros a night. All rooms in restored brick and wood with comfortable beds. One block from harbor on narrow street with many restaurants and shops around. We found it quiet at night.... more

Great location in the Old Town, clean rooms, and the staff is extremely friendly (and their English is fine). Great place with friendly management. I was hesitant about the shared bathroom but it was kept very clean. We stayed in May, and there were European college students out until all hours of the night. If you get a street facing room it can be a bit loud. But otherwise I have no complaints. more
