I spent only 1 night at Cala Valadella Resort in Ibiza, this August, but I would strongly advise you not to chose this hotel for your Ibiza retreat.
Why? Easy! Cause I had a nightmare experience there.
- First, no road signs will guide you to the hotel, making your way to the place a tricky puzzle. In fact the Resort is settled on the highest part of a hill surrounding Cala Vadella Bay. Among the several pathway running from the lower village, only one is the right one. You'll spend at least 1 hour - if you're not a lucky chap - trying to drive all the paths up the hill, until you'll meet a native ready to help you out.
- Second, despite a quite pleasant reception area and a nice garden surrounding the main building (which only accomodate the main reception and the breakfast room) rooms are really crappy and filthy. In fact, rooms are accomodate in separate buildings, all spread in the garden, and they look like small...
