Excellent overall. Well placed for bus, taxi and tourist train. Many bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Some noise at night but within tolerance. Some aspects of the hotel are getting a bit worn. Excellent breakfast and the staff outstandingly helpful.

+1
This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are lovely and very helpful and it’s in a great location for public transport and bars, restaurants, shopping etc. The airport bus stops about 100 meters from the hotel and costs 5€ The main bus station is also close, so it’s great if you want to travel around to see other areas of Mallorca.
On the downside the hotel is very tired and is well over due to be refurbished. The carpets were dirty and stained and the furniture and bathroom were chipped and patched up. The pillows were old and very lumpy and the mattress was a little uncomfortable. We booked this hotel as it was a 4 star hotel, but it’s definitely well below 4 star standards. There were no extras like mini bar, bathrobes, slippers, kettle for tea and coffee etc
We would return to this hotel again, but not until it has been refurbished.

Ive been staying in this hotel since it opened and whilst I still like the hotel, there's a few thing that really annoy me. Firstly the rooms are starting to look tired, specially the carpets and bathroom taps and shower that have always been problematic and now are becoming useless. My second issue is that after staying there probably over 20 times, I have never been treated any differently than when I used it for the first time. This hotel and chain does not seem to appreciate or reward loyalty.

We checked into this hotel as a party of 2 couples on Friday 6th May for 3 nights having spent a lot of time choosing a hotel that had the facilities we required. We paid nearly 188 euros a night for a mediocre, at best, stay.
First we were put on 2 different floors, which isn't that much of a biggie, but as we were travelling together it would have been nice to be able to quickly pop in and out of each other's rooms as needed.
Our bed was in the middle of the room, which I assume is meant to be boutique style, in reality it meant you couldn't plug your devices in and have them to hand while you relaxed as the bed wasn't near enough to a plug socket.
There is no bar, we booked specifically because they had a roof top bar, we were not advised of this in advance and it was a real let down.
There is NO tea and coffee facilities in the room, I have never stayed in a supposed 4 star hotel that doesn't have drinks facilities in the room.
Most importantly, at a toasty 25/26 degrees, the air conditioning wasn't on properly. I spoke to staff members no less than 3 times about getting our air conditioning sorted out, but was met with various shrugs of "We'll get it sorted out" and "It's on a winter setting and can't be changed" responses but nothing was done. Our room was overlooking the main road so we couldn't open the windows because of the noise, it also had the sun on it all day so by the time we got back in the evening the room was boiling and we simply couldn't sleep.
As it was a short trip we were planning on using the hotel toiletries, which would have been lovely had they been replaced daily as we used them, but they weren't. There was not even a bar of soap to wash your hands at the sink.
On top of the above, on checkout we were asked if we had used anything from the minibar, I said we didn't have a minibar, at which point they charged us 8 euros for the 4 small bottles of water that were in the room (2 daily). There was no sign anywhere that these bottles were chargeable and assumed they were complimentary as there were no tea/coffee facilities.
Breakfast was ok if you wanted just scrambled eggs and bacon as your hot food every day. There was also continental available.
The hotel is tired and in desperate need of a refurb and they've honestly got a cheek charging the prices they do and offering subpar facilities. The staff are mostly doing their best but must be sick of the complaints, we saw many people bemoaning various issues whilst there.
The only positive is the location, it's very close to the old town, bus stops and taxi rank, but that really is it.

Only good thing is the location, very convenient, as it’s just by the city centre part of palma. Gentleman who served us at reception was lovely and helped us with what buses to take and which direction to go.
Other than that, the rooms are OLD, stained carpets, stained bathroom tiles. Everything is just outdated it’s just not worth the money.
We stayed at HM Palma Blanc a day before and honestly save your coins and book a room there. We only booked this hotel as it was out of our budget to spend 3 nights at the other hotel, so we spent 2 nights at the other hotel and 1 night at this hotel. Should’ve just spent the extra money and stayed at the other hotel.
I asked downstairs at the reception for hand soap, and he said they had non, had to make do with the washing gel to wash my hands & my own hand sanitiser I brought with me. Also ring reception a day after asking for an Iron, and they had non?! imagine, a “4 star hotel” that can’t provide hand soap and an Iron.

A good choice because of the place. It’s downtown and near bus and train stations. You can go all city center on foot. Good air conditioning and great bed. Also, big room with amazing view. Not so clean. Also they didn’t left us soap at all and the shampoo and body lotion was one bottle every 2 days. Furthermore one day we came back to the room and the toothbrush was at the floor. The biggest issue is with the water temperature. We couldn’t do any appropriate shower because the temperature always change (without we do anything). We had it at medium temperature and suddenly it became hot as hell.

Aircon set to 'winter' mode and couldn't be changed by the staff dispite 25 degree heat. No fans available and only advice was to 'open the window' which meant very poor sleep as the hotel is on a busy road and well soundproofed for a reason. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and what we thought was complementary water in the fridge (the only thing in the 'mini bar') was 2 euros a bottle

Good location for transport, train or bus and for the old town, which is lovely. We had a room with a balcony, room 1702, which was great. Room might be a bit cramped without a balcony. Staff are helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast is good, lots of choice, fantastic bread.
My only negatives is that they charged us 6€ for three bottles of water from the fridge in our room. I’m sure it says somewhere that a bottle of water is 2€, but I didn’t see it. From my perspective the B and B rate is not particularly cheap and I think charging for bottled water is a bit mean.
The other negative is the shower, which was not good.

I travel a lot and I've NEVER had such an awful experience. Upon check in a couple was arguing with the customer service desk which should've been a bad sign... when we finally get to our room, it's disgusting. Stained sheets and floors, general grime everywhere. It's in such terrible condition we didn't want to be barefoot or take a shower in the room - it was gross. Period stains in the bed - seriously, just bad. We asked to move rooms and they had no available rooms and apparently no cleaning staff available either! So we said we would leave because there was no way I was sleeping in that bed... And yet, they REFUSED to refund us. They would do nothing: no new room, no cleaning, no refunds. It was unbelievable. We left and found a new place (huge hassle on such short notice). Please save yourself the trouble and don't stay here. From how the front desk person was speaking with us, it seemed like this happens regularly - she wasn't at all surprised.

On recommendation I booked this hotel through a travel agent but I believe for the value there might be better around. Understand me please, this is not a bad hotel and for the average tourist and visitor this might be totally fine. I however found some small issues which really made me looking forward to the end of my stay. For one the AC in the hotel is not working. The rooms are small and cramped with furniture which make the movement in the room difficult. Due to the size of the room I was in the room really was hot. Yes the window can open (inwards) and when this is done it is halfway across the bed. As per other reviews it is really close to everything but do not plan to spend too much time in your room!
