We stayed for a week at the beginning of September and would recommend these apartments to anyone. Whilst the rooms were basic they were spotlessly clean and the air conditioning and fridge was a real bonus. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble and the pool area was a delight. I think everyone has said it all already. It's not glitzy, close to town or full of charming character. However it does have a fantastic pool (with fountain) and massive rooms. The tiled floors can present a problem with noise from upstairs (we could hear someone snoring - pity the people downstairs when I started!)but generally the hotel feels quiet.... more

Just returned from a short break at the Augusta. How wonderful to find a hotel that is peaceful at night.NO traffic noise and no hooligans.The staff were all very helpful and charming...nothing is too much trouble.The WHOLE hotel is just spotless.The bathrooms look as though they have been recently refurbished.Plenty of towels and the usual soaps and bits. Fantastic place to stay, wonderful staff, spacious rooms. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, no matter what the time of day [I arrived at 11pm]. Just spent seven nights at the Augusta, booked after reading the excellent reviews on this site. The room was pretty basic but the cleanliness was first class. The staff, without exception, were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast was pretty good but "Continental". Having booked this as a 50th present for my mum I was so relieved when we got there! I had told the hotel and they then gave us one of the GIANT one bedroom rooms. I am not sure how big standard studios are but our rooms were far larger than we needed, a common one rarely makes about hotel... more

The Augusta is a clean well maintained hotel with good rooms that include a small sink cooker etc. It is about 3 miles from the centre of Palma but served well by taxi's and the no3 bus that leaves every 10 minutes from Porto Pi (500 yds away). We had a superb two day break with breakfast by the pool... more
