We stayed at the la quinta over 1/2 term in may this year. On the plus side the hotel was very clean and our suite was very spacious- fab bathroom(working jacuzzi - big hit with 6 year old!) and very handy for pool area. Booked last minute , the hotel is clean and modern but the rooms are small, however they are spotless and are well maintained by the maids with clean towels twice a day if required, the beds are a let down, I expected the hotel to be like the Blau Porto Petro on Mallorca, as they are both 5 star resorts... more

My husband and I have just returned from a week at La Quinta. The hotel is very nice, clean and the rooms comfortable. The service from the staff is excellent from the reception area to the housekeeping staff - fresh towels twice a day for the room and pool if required. The hotel is of a very high standard, there are suites available but as we booked last minute so we took a standard room but were lucky enough to get a downstairs room. Oh dear, what a disappointment. 5* hotel??? staff have a terrible attitude problem and a miserable, which rubs off onto the guests!! very quiet place, not at all friendly. maitre d and wine waitress very grumpy. Location not bad. Good base to explore some nice places on the island. more
