I cannot fault guanabara in any way shape or form. I've stayed here 5 times now and love my time here more and more. The staff are so friendly and will do anything for you, i love the cheesy nightly entertainment and the hotel is always soooo busy. The rooms are so clean and the pool is wonderful the food... more

We arrived the early hours of the morning, it was all in darkness that we didn't even know we had walked passed the swimming pool. As soon as I opened our apartment door, the room smelt of fish. Our initial impression was very favourable and we did not change our view. On entering our room we found a complimentary bottle of water, small bottle of wine, basket of sweets and a couple of chocolate biscuits which was EXCELLENT for a "2 key" rated apartment.
