We went to Las Palmas just to see what it was like compared to other Canary Islands. Impressed with the hotel, its staff and the excellent breakfasts. Our room was a corner room, which meant we got a very small amount of traffic noise. Central sea-facing would be better. Our room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything worked. Travelled by... more

I have visited this hotel 6 times - its well located for Cantaras Beach, it being the only hotel with its own sunbeds on the beach. There is an excellent roof top pool with sun loungers Rooms are a little dated but clean, with lots of products. But no bath robes! Reception staff have improved over the years! Breakfast is... more

Most of the recent reviews mention the high standard of service and I can confirm that even during the Easter weekend when the hotel was fully booked the staff of the Reina Isabel were admirably efficient and friendly. Our room, a triple, was very comfortable and well kept and the facilities, including free parking and free access to fitness and... more

This was a lovely hotel. My friend and I stayed here after booking online and getting a great price for the hotel. The pool area was a little cramped but overall a really nice area. The staff were all really helpful and the beach just across the path outside the hotel, was lovely. The hotel has a medium to well... more

My husband and I stayed at Reina Isabel during January 19 - 26 and we were very satisfied with our choice of a hotel. We had a sea facing room 575 and could listen to the soothing sounds of the sea while enjoying the scenery. The hotel staff - especially the two blonde ladies at the reception - were always... more

My husband and I were going to a wedding in Las Palmas and booked this hotel for a couple of weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. It is big but friendly. I think it is in the best position of all the other hotels as it is near the centre but on the beach. It has its own... more

Our last trip out to Las Palmas was twenty years ago in the late 80's, so we were anticipating a shock to the system and our memories. Not so, it was meeting a dear old friend again. Splendid setting on Las Cantaries beach and recently refurbed promenade, surrounded by great bars, resturantes and of course an easy stroll from the bustling... more

As said before, sitting on the downstairs terrace by the bar with a drink watching the world go by to the sound of the sea is a terrific experience. Las Palmas really is the promenade and beach as rest of town not so wonderful as say, Funchal, or Palma. We had a small room facing the sea but low down.... more

A week in December away from the UK was bound to be good, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. Location in the quiet part of Las Palmas, right on the main pedestrianised promenade looking out on the bay, plus its own car park was really good; but the best thing of all was the quality of staff customer care and... more

Although we had a ground floor view so missed out on the fantastic views of Las Canteras beach, the comfort and great location made up for it. The room was a good size but a little bit tired and in general, the décor of the hotel is a bit too standard, the location and friendliness of the staff compensate. Try... more
