Whilst not the most luxurious of resorts Puerto Colon Club has it's good points that make it an enjoyable holiday.
Firstly it is right on the harbour at Puerto Colon. This means a level 200 yard stroll to the beach or a 300 yard stroll to get your boat for whale watching or other excursions. You do not have a 25 minute walk downhill to the beach or harbour and a 45 minute climb back when everyone is tired.
It may not be large and brash like the inland resorts but it's staff are friendly and the resort is clean and tidy as are the apartments. Many of which have had new designer furnishings and redecoration in the lasy year.
There is no entetainment on site but any kind you want is available from 20 yards from the resort entrance.
The one bedroom and studio apartments at garden level are suitable for whellchairs and the refurbished coastal paths mean they are now flat or with gradual slopes, no steps.
