My husband and I spent a week at Westhaven Bay on our honeymoon trip to the Canaries in November 2007. Though we spent much of our time avoiding the neighboring "concrete jungles" that line the southern coast of Tenerife, we couldn't have found a more pleasurable place to stay in Costa del Silencio.

The hotel staff (a Belgian group) is very friendly, organized, knowledgable and accessible. Some of the restaurant serving staff didn't look too thrilled to be there, but others were superb. The hotel staff answered emails very promptly and gave honest and informative answers to all questions. When they learned what we wanted to do and see on Tenerife, they were ready with brochures, personal suggestions, and transportation arrangements. The staff speaks Spanish, Flemish and Dutch, English, German, French, and probably Italian as well.
