We stayed here fo just under three weeks. Although not really 5 star the hotel was certainly better than any 4 star I have stayed in in Puerto. The best: views from the rooms & the pool of sea water.. The worst: the cleaning and the maintenance of access to the pool of sea water, some insects. more

Excellent food and view, I liked the swimming pool near by the sea and the politely of the staff. The location of the hotel is perfect because you can find parking. Unfortunately, the staff didn't spoke english good enough and the hotel not offer WiFi for free. more

The Semiramis may not be a 5star hotel but it is certainly better than the 4 star hotel we saw. It was quiet in the public areas and we had no problem with noise from adjacent room. I booked this hotel as we were solely visiting to Tenerife to visit Loro Parque and this was in close proximity to it. On arrival the lobby area is very impressive - if slightly dated. Located in the East of the resort, high above the town and built into the side of a cliff (reception is on the 16th floor and all the rooms on floors below that!!). This gives every room a sea view that is slightly spoiled by a busy road directly underneath. Also as all the rooms face North you never get... more

The hotel used to be a block of flats and what you think are connecting doors between rooms in some cases are actually tiny kitchens. The only good points about the hotel was that the rooms and large pool were clean. Bad points......where do I start?.......The worst had to be the gym.....if you can call it a gym. I stayed here in early November 2004 for 1 week. The hotel is very good, but I would not rate it as 5 stars, it is definately 4 star calibre through. Both the breakfast and lunch were served buffet style and were plenitful, with lots of choice and generally good quality items. The wine, beer and drinks were not excessive... more
