My husband and I spent New Year here. It is a beautifully designed hotel with a calm and airy atmosphere. Although the place mainly hosts people over 40, New Years Eve was festive and cheerful with free sparkling wine and fantastic fireworks. Rooms were kept clean and tidy every day and the main restaurant had a good selection of food.... more

Very big hotel and spotlesly clean. Room spacious but the beds are rock solid. We had a sea view with a balcony above the bussiest 2 roads in Tenerife..the traffic noise was all day and all night....and also to get to the beach you have to cross the roads. The food was ok but was quite repetative as buffet style... more

Stayed at the Gran Turquesa four nights and when coming back I am really not sure how to grade it. The hotel had alsmost everything one could ask for. The hotel offers breakfast, half pension, full pension and all inclusive. There were two pools (temperated) and a massage bath (35c) available without any fees and had indoors spa where you... more

We arrived at this hotel on Christmas Eve for a family holiday only to be told we had no reservation. The reception staff could not have been less helpful, did not speak good English and almost ignored us. We presented the hotel booking voucher and proof of purchase only to be ignored. We were a group of 7 family members... more

Two weeks at the Turquesa as a Saga traveller ! Vast hotel - unattractive from outside but pleasant enough inside. Staff courteous & efficient. Rooms clean & functioning properly. Enormous dining room - rather an assault course for some frailer Saga guests. Food good for buffet style mass catering. Plenty of fresh fruit & salad. Enjoyed the Papas Arrugidas -... more

I visited this hotel in March 2008 with my husband with SAGA. We arrived at 2015 because of the terrible weather in the UK. The luggage with alot of asking arrived at 2100 and the reception staff do not speak English that time of night. The room has a dirty mouse trap and only one socket so either plug in... more
