Stayed two nights, was only going to be one, but decided as Santander and hotel so nice to break journey here. Quite simply a lovely hotel - beautiful and classy on both the outside and inside. Very comfortable immaculate room and lovely bathroom. Breakfast buffet is not cheap at 14 eur but there is such a large variety of high quality food, it didn't feel overpriced. (I remember the hilton by madrid airport charging €28!) Booked a seaview junior suite with an espresso machine. Room is clean but slightly dated. WiFi supports only one computer per room. Front desk is helpful and eager to help. Good restaurant. One time waiter switched TV channel, everyone had to watch a bullfight while enjoying their dinner.

An excellent hotel, very clean and efficient. Short walk to shops and beach. Ideal for a family stay. Good parking facilities. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice (buffet self service) Evening restaurant was excellent food. Staff always helpful if not particularly cheerful. Rooms good size, clean and well stocked bathroom. Recommended.

Lovely location,not a very welcoming reception, but almost everything else was excellent.Rooms and facilities very good, nice bathroom with good array of soaps, combs, toothbrushes etc,etc.Food very good, well presented, good breakfasts. Reception staff could be more friendly, all appeared quite sullen, although when spoken to could b e very helpful..overall a very good hotel

We only spent one night here and wished we'd booked longer. We had a beautiful room with a sea view. Had a delicious evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Lots of bars and cafes close by as well as a lovely beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again and can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here before our departure home, found by accident, and £100 cheaper than the other five star in the same chain. Would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone looking for an 'old fashioned' classy hotel, to stay in. Easy to find next door to the Casino and opposite the beach in the centre of the Sardinero strip area of Santander. Handy underground car park. Spacious room with side sea view and large well appointed bathroom. A good comfortable base for exploring the area.
