We were disappointed by this site despite its convenient location. There was no low season tarrif so we were charged the full rate although the supermarket and restaurant were closed. The showers were poor, with an inadequate flow of water and my husband had to try three of the toilets before finding one with a door which would close properly.

Although site rules stated there should be absolute silence after midnight there seemed to be no enforcement of this and a party of young lads made a shocking row until 4am on the first night.

On the plus side however the site is ideally placed for travellers wanting to explore this beautiful city. It is a short walk from the Cabo Meyor lighthouse. You can get a bus into the centre from close by. more
