As peregrinos we treated ourselves to a stay here. The price was reasonable, the room large with a terrace, the breakfast yummy and the appointments in the public rooms very special. The staff was professional but not especially welcoming or friendly. Maybe it was the backpacks.

We spent one night recently (end of April, 2013) in the Parado de Leon. It was lovely! Amazing architecture, wonderfully helpful staff and a breakfast to die for! This was our reward after a rainy, snowy, muddy, windy and gritty Camino Frances walk. This was a splurge for us and simply put, it was worth it.
