An excellent hotel in a quiet place, som 500m walking from Plaza Mayor. Pros: Huge and well furnished rooms. The buffet breakfast is superb, with plenty of choices and quality cold meats. Gym and spa (sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi) are free for guests. Cons: Wifi is not free. No Italian tv channels. Bed pillows are too soft. more

The Abba Fonseca is well sign-posted and easy to find from the Salamanca ringroad. We were lucky and found a free parking space in the road outside. Recently stayed three nights at this property. We arrived by car and found the location, just off the main ring road very convenient. Much of Salamanca is pedestrianised and so trying to drive to a hotel further into the city centre might be a nightmare. The hotel is located 5 minutes walkint to the "plaza mayor". The rooms are huge, clean, confortable and quiet rooms. The breakfast costs 12 € and it has the best quality: Jam, "Chorizo", ... are "ibericos", and there are good assorted. The hotel has also parking and free SPA for the guests more

Abba Fonseca was a great choice for our stay in Salamanca......We had a large room with nice amenities....Comfortable bed and everything was very clean......wonderful view of Cathedral dome and rooftops from our window....underground parking available...elevator....internet access...dining area but we found the continental breakfast to be expensive and not that good.........great location with easy walk to the center of the old... more
