Hotel Rector is a beautifully appointed hotel. The public rooms are stunning. Our room was large, well furnished and lighted and spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated just outside the old centre of Salamanca, on a busy road. Despite this, it is a haven of peace and tranquility. The Hotel Rector is an oasis in the busy city of Salamanca. While it is on the circular ring road that surrounds the city, which might seemingly detract from its location, it is worth the stay.
