We stayed overnight on an Insight tour. Our room was spacious & tastefully decorated in “old style” and overlooked a park. The hotel was well located; about a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. The room had a fridge & air-conditioning. In some ways the room was ultra-modern with sensor lights in the hallway & other ways it seemed... More

Great hotel in Salamanca. Buffet breakfast could have been better. Practically froze to death with air conditioner which for some reason couldn't be adjusted. Classic old school charm with modern details, loved the bathrooms! Close to shopping plaza and various dining choices.

We arrived as part of a tour group for a one night stay. The Hotel is centrally located and met our needs. The one complaint was another hard bed and flat long pillow. I am also not a fan of Spanish Hotels which require you to put your room key in a slot to operate the lights, A/C, and other... More

Stayed here with a tour group. The architectural details and art work are exceptionally beautiful. The breakfast buffet was first class too. Very nice people at the front desk. Convenient location. Highly recommend.

Perhaps if we had a greater appreciation of "old world" charm, we may have thought more highly of this hotel, but we thought the decor rather dated and surely the charm does not extend to only having an old cathode ray tube (crt) television. The poor provision of toiletries and no tissues clearly eliminated it from any pretensions of 5-star... More

I stayed here for 1 night on a group tour and was very pleased with all aspects of this hotel - except the gym, which had some broken and poorly maintained equipment - but considering that it rarely gets used perhaps it's low on the list to fix. Otherwise this is a lovely hotel and would be a good choice... More

May be I wouldn't be so harsh if this wasn't supposed to be a 5 star hotel--But! To be 5 star everything needs to be a bit special ? A few starters Aircon not working, no clock, no rubbish tin in room, strange shower with no instructions, no water conservation in bathroom, inadequate lighting bathroom, no wifi in rooms, no... This hotel is located on a busy street but when you walk through the doors you’ll enter a lobby characterized by old world charm and dated luxury. Maybe not to everyone’s taste but you find marble floors and tiles everywhere. Even in the bathroom, the floor and walls are covered by this marble theme with gilded gold fittings. In the... More

We stayed one night at this hotel as part of group tour. This is a beautiful hotel with classy, marble laid lobby. The room is spacious and clean with a gorgeous bath room also laid with black marble. Hotel is walking distance to Toro Street where the town centre is. When we were there, the circus was in town and... More

The simplest review I can give this hotel is when you go to Salamanca stay here. The hotel is fantastic, from the check-in to the breakfast service, it was a great experience, the staff where friendly and actually wanted to help, all services where prompt, our room was very generously proportioned, very nicely laid out. The bed was a large... More
