We stayed at the Barcelona Center Guesthouse and Apartments. This was a fantastic find a street over from La Rambla. We were walking distance to most things and for the sights that were farther away there is a metro station the next street over.
The unit itself was clean and had all that we needed for our stay. We had rented a studio unit with a kitchen so we were able to cook our own meals and come home in the afternoon for siestas. Having a kitchen we found was a great way to save some money as Europe we found was pretty expensive on the Canadian Dollar ;O) The apartments were quiet enough and there are great shopping, sights and tapas bars (try Tapa Tapa) all around. I highly recommend this place and would stay again if back in Barcelona. more
