We have just returned from a fantastic week at the Casa de la Rosa. We are a family of 9 adults and 5 chldren. we spent our days playing tennis, table tennis and swimimng in the pool , in the evenings we all ate together in the lovely bbq house warmed by the open log fire enjoying fine local wines. Helena the housekeeper is a lovely lady always on hand when we needed anything. We did not explore our surroundings very much as we were enjoying the house and relaxing in the sun; however, what we did see was gorgeous mountain scenery with miles of vineyards .The area is very rural and a car is a must. The owners were very helpful before our trip, sending us maps and lists of days out. The house is very well equiped. We cannot understand the previous poor review we read on tripadvisor. We enjoyed a great family holiday more

Also, because it is up in the hills, it was cool in the evenings, too cool in fact to sit out comfortably, which was a big disappointment.
In terms of the house, we found dead flies on the window sill ,grossness in the kitchen drawers and dirty condiment holder ,dirty fridge and floor in the upstairs kitchen , greasy hand-marks on the door of...
