Good location for walking into the city - it was about a 20 minute walk to La Rambla. Hotel itself was ok but not fantastic - I certainly wouldn't rate it as a 4 star. Staff were fairly good, food good, but the room was very small for what we'd paid. All in all fine for a short city break,... More

I booked this hotel for a 1 week stay over Christmas and the hotel lived up to its description and my expectations. I had a lovely spacious room, with a bath and shower, free internet service in my room. Even though this is described as a business hotel, I loved it and at Christmas there were lots of tourists. It... More

The ME Barcelona is a modern hotel designed by the French architect Dominique Perrault ( as far as I know) The shopping centre and Torre Agbar are just a five minute walk away. Parque Gúell is fifteen minutes away by car. All comfortable rooms are air conditioned and feature a bathroom with panoramic views over Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea,... More

I would personally classify this hotel as a typical business hotel. Stayed there for 5 nights on a trip to attend a conference. The hotel is very conviently located in barcelona, with ease of access to a couple of bus stations and the tram network. The metro underground station is however quiete a walk from the hotel. As for the... More

Decent hotel in a useful location: away from tourists but still only a half hour walk or 10 minute bus-ride to the Gothic quarter. Really conveniently located on one of the Big Bus Tour routes. Nice hotel but the room we had was quite small, looked out directly onto an alley and another building, and had twin beds despite requesting... More

We stayed almost by accident in this hotel - situated a bit far from the center, however close to the largest el corte ingles in the city. A little weary for 200 eur per night, but ok. More

I am a tourist who likes to walk around in the normal, nice parts of a foreign city. My wife and I don't mind the tourist spots, but just want to be by them all the time. Melia Barcalona is a great place for a foreigner to enjoy the city, but from a local vantage point that I like. More

Stayed here recently and found it to be a great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff who all spoke good English. Not close to the tourist zone around La Rambla, but central enough if you are checking out sites like Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia, or the Barcelona Football stadium. The tourist bus route is very close, and there... More
