I stayed 3 nights in this centrally located hotel beside the cathedral and only 10 mins walk to Las Ramblas. The room and ensuite were clean and tidy. Air-conditioned with shutters on the windows to keep out the heat and light of the sun. The staff were friendly and great assistance to us. I will definitely stay here again. more

We would highly recommend the Regencia Colon Hotel! We made last minute reservations right before Easter and we were pleasantly surprised. There was adequate room for the three of us; the beds were comfortable; very accomodating front desk staff; the room was clean. We did hear a lot of street noise, but I would stay here again. more

This is an excellent centrally located hotel just by the cathedral and not far from the North Bus Station and Estacion de Franca. Walkable provided you have wheely suitcases - otherwise take a taxi! The hotel has an excellent location in the heart of the old gothic city centre. Literally one block from the square of the Gothic Cathedral. However, the hotel is on a small, pretty quite, street and the flock of tourists do not disturb. This hotel is in the heart of the Gothic area just steps away from the famous and beautiful Barcelona Cathedral.You are also walking distance to most of the Gaudi archetectural attractions. Regencia Colon is centrally located near the Cathedral, a short walk from Playa Cataluyna and the Airport Bus Stop. When I arrived early from the Airport I was able to check-in at 10Am. Lovely, comfortable super-clean rooms with hardwood floors, mini-bar and plenty of storage. Good service and security. The only draw-back would be the Church Bells which do ring... more
