I stayed here in Aug 05 with friends and again the following year. It's as simple as this - its cheap and cheerful! We arrived rather late, and were shown a room that was extremely small, with a window opening onto a patio. We asked for a different room and were told none was available until the next day. Also, the manager told us that there was a minimum number of three days required for our stay, when no such requirement was mentioned... more

A very friendly and clean hostel. Helpful staff. We booked through emails. Our room was basic and a good size. Bedding and towels were provided. Good central location, a bit noisy at night but didn't bother us. Highly recommend if you are on a budget and would stay there again. Good value. Enjoy! more

This hotel was very central with helpful and friendly enough staff. However, when I stayed here, there was construction work going on which meant the entrance was very dusty and the hotel was very noisy. I stayed few days in this Rembrandt Hostal and it was perfect : good price, ideal location very near to the Ramblas, clean room. I was in a twin room with shower, clean towels every day and a nice balcony to the street. The staff was friendly and especially Kamal was very kind with me, because I forgot 2 clothes... more

This hostal is located in the midst of the the shopping, restaurants, and history of La Rambla. The staff was extremely friendly, and any requests (more blankets, towels, etc.) were handled very promptly. I would stay here again. more
