This is a hostel. It is priced like a hotel. We paid 55 euros for a two person room here. If you are going to pay this, walk up the street to Hotel Monegal and ask for an attico room. They have much nicer rooms, with a shared bath (same as here) for the same price...we found this out the... more
What convinced me to stay here and pay 45-50 euro a night (for a double) instead of saving 5-10 euro on a cheaper accomodation was the atmosphere that instantly hit you when you walked through the door. We have been here several times. When we start traveling to Barcelona, we tried some others places until we finally got Hostal Parisien and now every time we think to travel Barcelona we know where we can stay and feel very welcoming, confortable, safe and happy.
