The location was fantastic - right in the heart of the Ramblas, but before it gets (too) seedy. It's in walking distance to some wonderful sights from the port to some of the great Gaudi houses. My room was comfortable and larger than some other rooms I had in Spain but I will agree with other reviewers that it was... more

Good location but extremely noisy. Be ready not to sleep at all, because it’s situation in the middle of the Barcelona busiest street with non-stop celebration. Clean dining room. Rooms themselves are small and basics. No fridge. No English speaking TV. Don’t forget your own shampoo. more

My husband and I have just come back from a three night stay at the Oriente in Barcelona, and thought for a three star hotel, the hotel was perfect. Rooms were basic, but clean and laundry changed by the maids daily. We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the Ramblas, and although there was noise,... more

Room on the front overlooking ramblas - noisy as anything - no sleep - no double glazing - very bad. Average hotel at best Ramblas was hideous - full of tourists and cheap mime acts Barcelona was one huge disappointment - no buzz no nightlife - I'd rather go to Bognor than Barca - its overhyped and abysmal. more

We booked through lastminute.com This hotel in on La Rambla and whilst I read other reviews that made note of the noise from the street, we didn't find it to be a problem at all. If anything any noise that we heard was internal as... more

NB we stayed here in the winter and the hotel was at 30 % occupancy We booked this hotel as part of a package deal - the agent warned us that it was basic (3 star) but in a GREAT location. Which is true - the location is perfect - on Ramblas, opposite the Gothic qtr. not far from the... more
