Condestable was a great spot to visit all parts of Barcelona from, across the street from the subway. Given the very low price, it was worth it. Our room was tiny, but who needs floorspace when you're with the one you love? more

The location is fantastic! This hotel is clean and the breakfast is ok for a two-star but the walls are paper thin and the noise from the main road is deafening. Ignore anything stated on their official website! Rooms are cramped, badly decorated and very few have a view. Avoid breakfast unless you enjoy the school cafeteria experience. We stayed here for 3 nights. Easy access to everywhere. Metro, Universitat is right across from the hotel, Bus stop is just outside. Only 5-6min walk to Placa Catalunya.
