Spent 10 nights here last summer with my friend. The hotel in it self is very primitive. But it's a one star, so we got wat we expected. The room was far from cosy, but it was cleaned every day with new towels, so we had nothing to complain about. The location is perfect! About 20 min walk to the... more
Me and boyfriend aged 25 stayed at the hotel in feb booked a double room was great. The hotel was very clean and the maid visited every day! The location was fab! just off las Ramblas very near to drassues metro station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to leave the hotel key with them when you... more
Very friendly welcome by reception staff. The room is simple but clean, the bathroom rather new and very clean. You get what you need, but not a bit more (eg. soap yes, but no shelves in bathroom for cosmetics). Rooms look a bit like ibis rooms, but less colorful. Space for two beds, a chair, a desk, for two suitcases... more
I stayed there two nights with my girlfriend for a shopping session in Barcelona. The room was really depressing but looked clean (even If I would not take a bath in that old bath tube..). I found a long hair in my bed when I opened it, but no big deal. Problems began at night: the street is really really... more
We stayed in this 1 star hotel from 3rd to 8th Jan 2009. We had a twin room and a 3 bed room adjoining on the top floor. (for we two, daughter, son in law and 6 yr old Andrew) The towels were changed every day and the bathroom cleaned. Breakfast was adequate - cereal, juice, yoghurt, tea, coffee, croisants,... more
We have just spent four nights at the Hotel Comercio in the heart of Barcelona. We chose the hotel because it offered cheap accommodation, but we should have realised it was cheap for a reason. The rooms were basic - ours had two single beds which were okay; the floor was not carpetted and the ceiling was high. There was... more
I stayed in the hotel comercio for the worst seven night in the histroy of bed times. For the frist three night I couldn't get to sleep due to the noise. The breakfast was bad. If you go to Barcelona don't go to this hotel stay anywhere else. And when I go back to barcelona I will not stay in... more
Wow, what a disappointment after a long flight when all you want to do is get to a nice room. The room we recieved had two "twin beds". Not used to sleeping like Ricky and Lucy Ricardo, with my husband. We were afraid to get to this hotel too much after dark..it is in a bad area..lots of homeless people... more
The room was very small but clean. One night it was noisy, so bring earplugs! Breakfast was basic but enough to get you started. Hotel was located next to Plaça Reial and La Rambla. For the price I paid and the good location I would recommend it. more
