I too had the misfortune to stay in this autoclave. It was that hot that my sweat was sweating. On hindsight I would rather have shared a room [-----------------] while "wee" Jimmy Crankie stuck shards of glass underneath my toenails while shouting "fandabbydozi" at the top of his/her voice. We stayed in room 109 which is over the side street, just round the corner from the Grand Via. The traffic noise is considerable, even at night, and then there are those bin lorries! However, I used ear plugs and slept like a baby. Keeping the window shut and the fan on (completely silent running fan) kept the temperature satisfactory.... more
