The location was very good - right next to the Plaza Catalonia and metro that could take you anywhere. The room was disappointing, however. We stayed here from 10 to 14 July 2009. We arrived at the hotel at about 12:00 but were aware that we would only be let into the room at 14:00. There is a small cupboard where they let you keep your luggage so you don't have to haul it round town until you can get in to your room.... more

You probably couldn't get better place to stay location-wise. Everything necessary is just nearby - Placa de Catalunya, la Rambla, most of the sight, shops and of course, a Starbucks right next to the hotel. We booked a double room at a very reasonable rate. The location is fantastic. The room was quite basic and small but clean. We had a double bed which as pushed up against the wall, not ideal. Staff were very friendly. Ideal location if not spending much time in the room and want a base to sightsee. more

I stayed here on a little Eurpoean vacation with a friend. If you're in Barcelona there's plenty to do, so there's no need to spend too much time in the hotel room. Everything was good, not great.
