Paid over 300 euros for a "privilege" room for our honeymoon which was ok, not gorgeous. Certainly the quality of the hotel is not 4 star and our room was not luxurious. First time at 1898 and we were very impressed. The staff were exceptionally helpfull and friendly. Our room was spotless with a very pleasant garden balcony .the postion of the hotel was of course tops and the breakfast very good. In all a "will return hotel" Highly recommended. more

It's a fine hotel. They take care of all the stuff you would expect, but for $400-600/night, it's not up to par.
