A very new, very modern hotel with minimalist, very tasteful decor in the rooms and the common areas. The young and energetic staff is very helful in a warm and unstuffy way and speaks perfect english. Very nice and modern rooms, if somewhat small. The hotel is located near the magic fountains, and it is a short walk to Las Ramblas. There is a metro stop just round the corner, at Placa d'Espanya. more

The hotel has a strange musty smell when you enter, the carpet on the 4th floor at the elevator is totally stained, the front desk is not helpful (25 years olds who think they are hip). We stayed here in September for 4 days and had a fantastic time. The hotel is funky and modern and the staff all very friendly and helpful.
