If you are looking for somewhere cheap and basic this is an excellent place to stay. it has a really good location near two metro stops, there is a lovely little place for breakfast just next door and the staff are really helpful. the rooms are small but clean. basically you get what you pay for more

Get a pass for underground very cheap and great to get around. Decent chinese restaurant round the corner near tarragona underground. As another reviewer said Italian round the corner was a rip off. This is a great little hotel, 20 minutes from the airport metres from Sants railway station with bars etc close by. If you like to spend a lot of time in your room (and why would you in a city like Barcelona?) then its probably not for you but it is clean and represents true value for money. more

we have just come back from barcelona, staying at the transit hotel. for the money, it was brilliant. a working shower, good air con, clean towels and sheets changed every day. the location was brilliant, close to the main train station and to the metro. the staff were very helpful and very polite. we wouldnt hesitate to stay there again more
