The Marina View is indeed a gem. Lovely room, friendly welcome, good breakfast, excellent location. Mila was so helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. Barcelona is a really interesting city but not cheap! Try eating round the corner at Arccafe - Carrer d'en Carabassa 19 - unfortunately we didn't find it until our last evening! more

We had a wonderful stay in Barcelona from 10/10/09 to 16/10/09 and Marina View made it so much more enjoyable. Very convenient, overlooking marina, close to shopping, bus tour and start of La Rambla. Also ideal stopover if catching or finishing a cruise. Hostess, Mila was wonderfully warm and helpful. She welcomed us at 1.15am thanks to a delayed Iberian flight. Can highly recommend. more

Location is fantastic and the place is run very, very well. We stayed in a newly refinished suite (I think it was called the Captain's Suite, or something like that) which was very nicely decorated and spacious. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. Marina View is a great place to stay in Barcelona. It's position overlooking the marina and next to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter couldn't be better.
