It was an amazing experience. The hotel is very modern designed and there was almost nothing I could complain about. The first thing that will catch your eye is using an electronic card to enter the hotel, go through the reception to enter the eleveator and finaly use the same card to enter your room.....not common in hostels ;) We... more

I would definitely recommend MelonDistrict. I stayed here while travelling throughout Europe and have to say this was the best hostel i stayed at. It is really close to the Poble Sec metro station and the Paral.lel metro station making it super easy to get anywhere in Barcelona, plus it is really close to a lot of tourist spots like... more

Our room was not ready when we tried to chech in at 2 pm. Reception's lady was very sorry and we got in about 2.30 pm. I would never reccomend this place for anyone to stay. Barcelona is such a great city. It's the third time I go there, and always have fun. This time, I stayed there with 3 other friends at Melon District. It's top located, next to Ramblas and Raval. Building is new and staff super friendly. It's an easy going atmosphere and the pool roof is the best. I will come back... more

It was a really cool concept, very modern and minimalistic. I liked the private room - although the bathroom was small, at least it was private. The bed was very comfortable and the cooking area was nice so we didn’t spend too much on restaurants. Good area, very close to the center. The staff were extremely helpful! more
