We spent four days at the Patio in November between cruises and enjoyed ourselves immensely...Liz and Tony were great with recommendations and advice for Barcelona, our new favorite city (Gaudi, Magic Fountain, Palau de la Musica, Las Ramblas, Gothic area). One night Liz even took us to a close Catalon restaurant to order dinner for us non-Catalon nor Spanish speakers.... more

We arrived in Barcelona completely exhausted. We had driven all day, flown all night and most of the next day. On top of that, our luggage did not make the transfer at Heathrow in London. We were not happy campers. But Tony took control. He got on the phone with the airlines, found our luggage and made us feel right... more

Our stay in Barcelona was short, but we've found the perfect place to stay if we ever go back. The room was clean, Liz and Tony were so very nice, and the B&B was only a few dozen feet from the metro stop. I wish we could have stayed longer. I noticed that a few other reviews say there is... more

We stayed in one of the rooms of the The Patio. It was cosy, clean, and homey. The décor is beautiful and I wish I could have taken more pictures while there. More than the place itself though, I think our hosts, Liz and Tony, make the place. They are warm and funny and helpful and treat their guests like... more

We tried to book the Patio B&B but it was full so we stayed in Liz and Tony’s Flat instead. The apartment was good value for money and spic and span. It was also easy to travel to and from being close to the metro. Liz was very helpful from arrival through to departure allowing us to see the Patio... more

We enjoyed this place so much that Liz and Tony had trouble getting rid of us! Our original plan was to stay five days at the B&B, but because our hosts were so welcoming and helpful, we asked to extend for a total of 2 weeks. Over that time we stayed in their two apartments (the Loft and the Flat)... more

The patio is walking distance from the train station and right across the street from a subway stop. It is clean and nestled deep inside one of Barcelona's city blocks. I enjoyed the fresh fruit in the mornings and loved that a good bakery was just a few steps from the door. If there was a downside, it was that... more

Just spent 5 days in Barcelona, at The Patio. Book it now - don't even think of staying anywhere else, unless your preference is for crowded, touristy, noisy, frustrating places. Thank you, Liz and Tony, for your gracious hospitality. You are the best. Karen and Barry more

My wife and I spent three nights at the Patio at the start of October based on a recommendation from friends and the reviews in Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Barcelona is a busy, noisy city and the Patio, hidden in an inner courtyard, was a great retreat from the energy and hub-bub of the streets. Liz and Tony... more
