We were really glad to have stayed in The Patio for our 5 days Barcelona holidays. Tony & Liz are a most wonderful couple and helped us alot with most useful advice to make the best of our trip. For example, we were able to secure advance tickets to the Sagrada Familia with help from Tony, great & cost-effective places... More

I stayed at The Patio 18 months ago and had a great time so decided to stay here again when I went back to Barcelona this year. Liz and Tony once again were excellent hosts with lots of great tips and as always were friendly and welcoming. I'll stay here again when I next return to Barcelona :-)

Excellent four night break. Champion location, lots of good advice on how best to explore the town. Liz speaks good english albeit with a North East accent. Good breakfast. Very clean. Thanks for the lift to the airport, Tony. We'll be back and would recommend the Patio to my best friend if I had any. Ian

Liz & Tony run a great Bed & Breakfast in Barcelona. Everything was so easy - being picked up at the Airport was a good start. Very comfy place - roof terrace for a drink in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and fresh fruit was always provided. I found it wonderfully relaxing and quiet listening to the birds singing in... More

Tony and LIz were fantastic. I felt as if I was staying with friends as they took the time to make sure we had everything we needed for a great visit-- even lending me gloves for a chilly day out to visit Montserrat. The location is perfect-- good reasonably priced eating nearby-- and a metro stop across the street. Thank... More

My 9 year old daughter and myself have just got back from Barcelona where we stayed at this brilliant b and b. Just across from metro, 2 stops and you are on the Ramblas. Tony and Liz certainly went the extra mile when it came to helping us around this wonderful city. Nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend... More

We stayed in the Loft of The Patio. It is very comfortable, very good situation, closed to train, metro and bus stations. Within walking distance of the centre - if you enjoy walking. Very secure place in front of a prison. Great little bars in the surroundings to have a cup of coffee in the morning and a glas of... More

Great Location, recommendable, its just an Island of Tranquility but still very centric in Barcelona - absolutely nice. Tony And Liz take very much care, the Rooms And specially the Breakfast room are cosy And invite to stay longer. To get Down to BCN Center there is the Metro just crossing the Street..

We wanted a long weekend in Barcelona just to relax and take in the sights. Have friends who have been to this B&B who told us they couldn't have wished for anything better. They were so right! Great accommodation, lovely breakfast and the owners Liz and Tony couldn't have done more for us. They suggested some fantastic restaurants that were... More

This was our first time to visit Barcelona. It must have been our lucky day that my husband came across this B&B. We have never been happy with the previous experiences with B&B's. My husband and I were so intrigued by the reviews for this property that we decided to give a B&B one more chance. I am so happy... More
