Though it has a terrific location and occupies a pretty 1900 vintage building, the Murmuri is clearly a victim of its own success. Check-in in the small lobby took forever, and the scene at the front desk was a mad house. Very helpful, friendly staff who really aimed to please on all fronts - We stayed for 3 nights but had flights at odd times and they were so kind and adapted to our needs and requirements with a warm and helpful attitude. Trendy design and decor, small hotel with wonderful restaurant and a Tapa's bar. Good breakfast buffet. Several blocks away is the sister hotel - the Majestic on Passeig Gracia which has roof top pool, bar and spa, and downstairs gym to which you have access. i like to recommend this hotel because it's a beautiful place to stay... nice employees, great room with clean sheets and towels everyday, super restaurant and the breakfast was very good. the lounge is also very nice... so next time were off for Barcelona.... MURMURI is our place to stay!!!!! more
