Sitges suffers from endless poor hotels. Due to the town's popularity, many visitors are prepared to return year after year and pay high prices for mediocre hotels. Stayed at the Sol Melia for four nights in August. It's about ten minutes walk from the town centre which is no harm for walking off all the excesses of the holiday. Very nice hotel. A little dated. Rooms are nice and spacious and very clean. The towels need to be washed in Comfort as they are a bit scratchy... more
