Location of the hotel was very nice. We had a rental car, and were able to park beneath the plaza and steps away from the hotel which was convenient. This hotel is in an amazing location with all the attractions within a few minutes walk. Definitely worth paying a little extra for a square view and although the noise can be a little distracting with the windows open, but once they are shut the noise evapourates. Tarragona itself is very Spanish so pick up a few phrases before going.... more

Friendly Staff, English is not brilliant but they make a lot of effort. The rooms are reasonably sized and very clean. We were on the fifth floor so noise wasn't an issue. I stayed here for a whole week while attending a conference, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The staff have very little English among them, but somehow one makes do. The rooms at the front have tiny balconies overlooking the historic Placa de La Font, which means one also gets the noise of late-night strollers and beer-drinkers.... more

This centrally located hotel is fantastic value for money. It's close to the historical old town and you can walk to most places of interest easily. Nearby there are great beaches. more

Amazing, really. I almost want to keep this little gem of a hotel secret. The only downsides are that there is a lack of English spoken in the hotel (hey it's Spain why should there be), a phrasebook is essential. Great place in centre of a lovely city. Only 2 stars, but felt more like 4 stars. Excellent friendly staff with small but excellent refurbished rooms overlooking very atmospheric little Placa, one minute from main shopping street 'Nuevo Ramblas'.
