I stayed at this hotel as a teacher leading 25 students. I had a small single room with no view, but I slept fine. My main complaint was that the undersheet on my bed came off CONTINUOUSLY. It had no elastic to hold it on! Drove me crazy. In the small rooms, you will only have a shower, with a tiny perimeter of tile in which to squeeze your body. I went into some other rooms, and they all had baths. The location is excellent - right in between the old town, the newer part of town, the beach and a mall. You will probably spend little time in your room!
One interesting thing is that this hotel is entirely family-run, over the course of 4 generations. This family has been in the hotel business since the late 1800s! They had a more lavish establishment about 40 years ago. I think they must be doing something right to maintain that longevity.
