What a find! A great place to stay, comfortable rooms, lovely food and very nice wine. Just a short distance from Santiago and easily accessible by car. Family run - nothing was too much trouble for them.

Having just journeyed from the Parador in Leon, it is hard to believe we'd consider a small venue on the outskirts of Santiago de Compostela an "upgrade", and that's exactly our sense of this fine property. A small hotel, family run along with the adjacent vineyard, every part of the experience is unique and extraordinary. The rooms are each unique... More

We recently spent 4 nights in this beautiful home. Our room was very spacious with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfasts were magnificent. Home cooked evening meals were also delicious though a wider menu would have been welcomed. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We would recommend this venue without hesitation. We hope to return one day!

-Owners are very friendly. -Food was very good too. -Rooms are large and airy overlooking the vineyards. -The hotel is located in a "quiet" rural location but here it was the problem for us. We could hear dogs barking at night. The barking is a very irritating sound and my husband is very sensible. Perhaps we are very demanding respect... More

Lovely stay here, even if short - great hospitality, great charm - lovely home cooked food -one tiny suggestion would be to improve the lighting for dining room - it was too bright & didn't show off the room's ambience with its wonderful high ceilings to best advantage - the nigtcap by the fire though was very atmospheric and relaxing,... We recently spent 3 very enjoyable nights here and fully support the glowing reviews of this superb small and characterful hotel. Every aspect of the accommodation and service is beyond reproach. Antonio, the host, is charming, friendly and informative and, in perfect English, is happy to answer all your questions and recommend things to do and see in the local... More

We recently spent four nights here and totally enjoyed every minute of our stay. The hotel is located in a quiet rural location but within easy driving distance of Santiago De Compostela. The building is a very tastefully renovated perhaps XVII century small "palace" with its own private chapel and vineyards. The pubic areas are beautifully furnished with many interesting... More

We made this booking based on the strength of previous reviewers comments and can pleasantly report that our stay appears to have been every bit as pleasurable as previous reviewers. The location being an easy 15 minutes drive out of the Santiago makes this an excellent location if you have your own transportation. We chose to eat in each night... More

I would like to agree with all of the many reviewers who gave Pazo de Galegos the highest possible ratings. When you make a reservation an ocean away, there is always a bit of trepidation about whether the place will measure up to your expectations, which make it all the more satisfying when it does. Nothing fell short. The rooms were... More

While planning a vacation I came across reviews on the internet for the Pazo De Galegos and found them interesting enough to make a booking. I mean why not, an old palace (pazo), a winery and a restaurant all in one spot - it had to be good. Well we went, we stayed, we drank and we ate and I... More
