We chose this hotel based on its excellent Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Its in a fantastic location in a quiet street in the old city, a stones throw from the cathedral. The rooms are small but carefully designed for maximum utility and very, very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing - fresh pastries and toast made from local... More

Phenomenal service, best breakfast I had on a two week business trip to Spain with all local fresh produce, comfortable and contemporary rooms, great location. The team at the Altair could not have been more accomodating! Will definitely go out of my way to visit again! More

Did consider staying at the Parador in Santiago but decided against it after consulting Tripadvisor. This is a small , cosy and tastefully decorated hotel very near the Old Town, with a nice home made breakfast and the staff are really friendly and helpful with tips. Also free internet connection. Every aspect of this little hotel is carefully and meticulously detailed, from the living area in the lobby to the very comfotable beds. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Location is stone's throw away from the catheral and shopping. I would love to stay there longer next time! More
