We decided a fast travel to Santiago de Compostela in the middle of August. The only lodging we found with such little time and in the middle of the summer was this, because most of the hotels were plenty and other were so expensive...
It is a complex of prefabricated metal bungalows with shower, tv and a small fridge. Just in front of it there is a 3 star hotel where you can have the breakfast and even use the pool.
We paid 30 euros a day, 40 with a good buffet breakfast. Considering we travelled without a reservation in the middle of august, i think is a good option and good value for the money.
One tip: Santiago has the worst traffic indications i've seen ever. It is difficult to reach the hotel, call directly to receive instructions, specially if you don't speak spanish.
