Great location close to everything, centrally located. My first room was not good, couldnt use A/C because it was to noisy, couldnt open window to much noise on the street outside. This was mid july. Visited this little hotel in the city center. Single room was clean, but suprise suprise, window to inner yard with garbage containers. Breakfast was quite modest but ok, breakfast room and hotel very nice old decorated. Staff was friendly with limited English skills. Price met the quality well.

It´s the third time I´ve stayed at Carlos V. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and it is very centrally located. Some people complain about noise, but what do you expect if you choose a hotel in the middle of Madrid?
