This hotel is just off of Gan Via. There are a lot of shopping stores right on the street such as Pimkie, Stratevarius, Blanco, H&M, Top Shop to say the least. It's a great place for single young girl travellers who likes to go shopping. The hotel is walking distance to all the major tourist sites. A block away from... more

Great location, although I woukd be careful about straying down the side streets at night.  Place was very clean and staff helpful.  We appreciated the provision of tea/coffee making facilities on request also airport shuttle.  Good value for money, pack ear plugs if you are a light sleeper but otherwise very happy with our stay. more

I picked this hotel primarily on location and it delivered on this as the hotel was very centrally located and near a metro station. The only downside of the location was that the surrounding area was slightly seedy at night although this did not cause us a problem. The room and service at the hotel was fine but nothing spectacular.... more

I would NOT advise you stay at this hotel. The walls are very thin and noise is a major problem. Eventually at midnight, I telephoned reception to complain about the noise from above. The bed is hard and the room was cold. View is of the central wall. Decor is mediocre and tired. There are much better hotels in Madrid... more

The hotel is a block from subway system Gran Via and is on the main strip. The room we had faced the street. We thought it was be loud at night but it wasn't too bad - bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The room was clean and a good size for Europe standards. We got single... more

The positive fact - its a great location on the Gran Via - so like staying on Oxford or Picadilly circus. Convenient for metro. Well ... it was booked via airmiles who assured me it was a luxury 4 star hotel. Well 4 star HOStel would be nearer the truth. When was the last time anyone stayed in a 4... more

I stayed in the hotel with my 14 years old sun for 5 nights. The hotel is perfectly located, in walking distance from all the attractions and the room was clean and nice. Here are few tips: 1. Those who care for the room design might have a problem as the room is looking somehow as a hospital room (at... more

My boyfriend and I began our 10 days Europe trip in Madrid. We stayed here the first weekend in Feb 2009 and got a good deal by booking early directly from their official website. It was our first time in Spain. Upon checkin we requested a renovated room and we were lucky to get a great room on the 5th... more

The hotel is an old building, so it has that odd smell to it. don't go here expecting anything fancy. It is barely up to a 3-star standard in the US. beds are not extremely comfortable. I was on 7th floor and Gran Via noise was still significant.... so bring earplugs. Service was friendly and attentive, but all i did... more
