I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference held there. The hotel is dated, has mediocre service and rooms are out of date as well. Bathrooms are fair at best and soap rations are meager. The breakfast buffet, however, is very good. The busiess center is nothing more than two PC's in the lobby and a printer! more

The hotel is located fairly far from the tourist area of Madrid. The Cuzco stop on the Metro is a five minute walk from the hotel. There are a few restaurants across from the hotel and an upscale convenience store two short blocks to the right as you exit the Lobby. The room was clean but forgettable. There were only... more

Nice hotel, as others have said it is a bit out of town but some nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. My main problem with the hotel is that it was HOT and they refused to turn on the air conditioning in the rooms until our third night there. Spent a very uncomfortable night. Staff also unfriendly. more

Nice business hotel, but pretty far from the downtown area and the tourist areas. Not much in the immediate area to see. Hotel was well appointed and as a plus offered guests 15 minutes of free internet access in the lobby--just enough to check email and reconfirm airline flights. If you asked they would give you another 15 minutes. Staff... more

Very helpful and caring staff - the restaurant waiters were attentive and the desk staff very responsive to requests, and this made a pleasant change to some hotels. The breakfasts were good although I would take my own tea bags next time as I like stronger tea. I can not recommend lunch or dinner there as it was highly repetitive... more

I stayed here for business and it really was a fine hotel. The check in and service was very friendly and attentive. The beds were fine, the rooms large and the bathroom had everything you need. It is a little out of town so it is about 12 euros into town which could be annoying if you were staying here... more

Spent 4 nights at the NH Eurobuilding during a conference my husband was attending. Pros: Very clean, 5 minute walk to Metro, small shopping mall and stores, restaurants (even a Starbucks if you can't live without!). Neighbourhood was more interesting than I expected for a business oriented area. Cons: Everything was extra. Breakfast buffet was great, but who can eat... more

Stayed here for a conference in October 2007. Initially thought the hotel was quite nice. It's billed as a 4 star. The communal areas/bar/restaurant, looked good. Room was standard (the bathroom was the best part though). Major problem was that the windows, floor to ceiling glass doors with fixed shutters to pulled along in front, didn't seem to close properly.... more

The Hotel room we got was superb because we paid extra. At the front desk you quickly get the impression that you must pay more to be happy: they have two large signs that for 40 Euros more you get an upgrade, and for 75 Euros more, a mini-suite. We took the 40 Euros upgrade and we appreciated our one... more
